Sweden hasn't been involved in any war for 200 years.
We even don't like conflicts in daily life. The temperament of a Swede is like a very little lake deep inside the forest. Calm without any sign of waves. Swedish people might be seen as boring. There are not showing so many expressions. Peace is very rooted.
The Swedes don't show off. There are no tanks on our streets or marching Military.
The Military strategies are on an intellectually level and are discussed in TV, Radio Newspapers. Patriotism is not so strong in Sweden. Maybe because we haven't fighting any countries for generations, Maybe because of few our citizens have relatives killed in a war.
In the 80ies during the cold war we feared the Soviet Union and war including the nuclear bomb.
2017 the feelings is coming back but the country is now called Russia.
Please! All we want is peace! Mir! Enjoy your victory day in Russia sweet sister Natasha and all wonderful Russians I have made friends with!
