The Ninja Diet #13: Eat like a bird...

Luleå is close to the arctic circle in the north of Sweden.
The winter is long, cold and dark.
Finally we are getting spring in Luleå. Slowly the trees are turning green. It's cold. +10C.
A few hours yesterday it was kind of warm in the sun.
Me and my bird Roxy were relaxing outside in our garden. She's a good role model regarding eating. Loves fruits and is very active!
For three month this city is living up. People spend lot of time outside. The midnight sun shines almost 24 hours, at least it never gets dark. We are charging our batteries for next winter.
1. Meal plan:Yes.
2. Inspirational reading:Yes
3. Meditation: Yes
4. Exercise: No, lazy afternoon, partly in the sunbed
5. Life changing: My work space is ready!

Russian Cat vs Swedish Bird/Brown hawk down/Caique mindfulness master

I love birds. The picture above is from the Mosel Valley, Germany where I a couple of years ago, got an advice from Herman the hawk. What he said is a deep secret.
The happiness was complete when I had an owl landing on my arm.

Every morning I have a counseling with my caique coach Roxy. "Slow down she says" after her fruit buffet breakfast. Other days she is quiet. But she always want to cuddle. She loves to sit in my hair.
I got her in November and she demands a lot of attention. Roxy likes to wrestle laying on her back getting tickled on her stomach.
But most of all she loves to sit under my neck.
She makes me sit for a moment reflecting over my life and my goals.
My sister Natasha in Petrozavodsk can work out with her cat.  My bird helps me to  practice mindfulness.

Keep on fighting sisters!

Good Morning!

This is how I spend my mornings. Trying to make myself ready for the day balancing a Caique on my head.
I was touched by Natashas story from yesterday here at our Butterfly Battle blog.
Losing weight is a tough struggle for us. If not, we would have been slim long time ago.
I have also faced difficulties this week. The weather is gray and I've got a lot of problems to solve.
It's easy to take a sandwich too much, and another one, and one more...
The feeling of "losing it" creates guilt, and to get rid of that awful feeling, you eat some more...
If you fail one day. Get back on the horse . Forgive yourself. Keep on fighting!

Don't compare your weight loss with mine. After a quick lost of some kilos my scale is standing still. Have patience, my dear sister. Things happen, even though you don't always notice it.
The greatest change has to take place in our brains. We are intelligent woman. We now what we shouldn't eat and whats good for us, but it isn't easy to stay on track.
Summer is coming soon. More opportunities to be outside, have nice healthy picnics and to swim and dance (in the midnight sun of Luleå).

Many thanks to my  Russian sisters Marina and Nadezhda for the video greeting yesterday!
There are a lot of Swedish sisters here getting inspired from our Butterfly Battle blog.
And to our readers in Vietnam, Egypt, USA, Indonesia, Kenya and so many other countries around the world, please make your own comments here. Share your stories! And join us!
I want to thank you all for your support. It makes us stronger and more motivated. Especially those hard days in life!

Challenging guzzle weekend coming up...

The swedes shops food for 1 747 millions today, Mandy Thursday, (skärtorsdagen), for the Easter celebration.

Eggs, salmon, candy...

It's 80 % more than a normal Thursday.

It's no wonder there`s a large risk putting on weight during Easter.

My scale shows less every day. I will eat like like my bird Roxy!

No guzzle for Natasha and me this weekend!

The battle continues.
